William R. Faucette, Jr. believes in unlimited human potential and has dedicated his life to helping others recognize and develop their God-given talents. William is the President & CEO of Invictus II, Inc., a wireless and telecommunications marketing firm founded in 2000. William has been a top producer in the direct marketing arena since 1994 through Invictus II and its predecessor, Invictus Global Marketing. Working on a part-time basis for much of his tenure, William built an international network of independent agents marketing telecommunications products and services. Currently full-time, he is a top-producing independent representative for 5LINX Enterprises, a Rochester, NY-based marketing company. He is also the founder of The Millionaires Club, through which he plans to create 500 millionaires within five years.
Prior to deciding to focus full-time on his marketing pursuits in February of 2002, William served as Chief of Staff of the City of Rochester, NY, the third-ranking position in city government. In this role, he managed nearly 700 staff and $35 million of the City’s budget, and several of the City’s highest profile initiatives. Appointed by Rochester Mayor William A. Johnson, Jr. in 1998 at the age of 28, William is the youngest senior manager in Rochester’s history. Before joining the city administration in 1994, he served as the Director of Development & Public Affairs at the Urban League of Rochester.
A native of Rochester, New York, William is a 1991 Graduate of Stanford University with a B.A. in Quantitative Economics. Since returning to Rochester, he has been heavily involved in the community, serving on the Boards of Directors of: the Urban League of Rochester, DePaul-Huther Doyle, the Greater Rochester Martin Luther King Commission, McQuaid Jesuit High School, Cornell Cooperative Extension Foundation, and AIDS Rochester. He has a strong commitment to youth, and is a founder of the Theta Omicron Project STRIDE mentoring program, in addition to serving as coordinator of the BOULE Mentoring Program. Faucette was initiated into the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in May of 1988, and is active in the Theta Omicron Chapter.
His work has been recognized through numerous local and national awards, including: recognition as one of 30 Leaders Under Thirty by Ebony Magazine; recognition as one of Forty Leaders Under Forty by the Rochester Business Journal; recognition as Omegaman of the Year by the Theta Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity; and recognition as Citizen of the Year by the Alumni Association of the African American Leadership Development Program.
